About Ambition Truck Driving Academy
Ambition Truck Driving Academy is an SGI accredited training facility and offers a friendly, comfortable environment to help you achieve your goal. The experienced staff is ready to provide you with a superior training program that is designed to meet your needs. We provide a clean, comfortable classroom, well maintained equipment and climate-controlled shop for the pre-trip inspection training for when the weather is bad. Your success is our # 1 goal.
Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) is now required for all new class 1 drivers. Class 1 vehicles are classified as trucks towing trailers exceeding 4600 kg (10 000 lbs).
Class 3 vehicles are trucks with more than two axels (except three and four axel farm trucks). Class 3 vehicles can only tow trailers, when the trailer and load weighs less than 4600 kg (10 000 lbs).
This course is for students who only need their air brake endorsement. The course covers all required in-class and practical hours by SGI. The written exam is required to be written through an SGI testing office.
